Shameless Plugs #17 & 18
OK, so the first one's only a little 32-page booklet, and most people will get it for free. But I did write the entire thing, and it is going to every person who purchases an Adult resource here (and in some cases, included in the products themselves), as well as be used for myriad promotional purposes.
Thus, while it won't make any money, it may very arguably be the most read (and thus perhaps most influential?) Adult resource we put out this year by a long stretch. (BTW, the woman in the center of our cover was also the designer of said booklet. Go Jean!)
I might as well include the other item, too, since I wrote the lesson used in the, um, Adult section of the video (which is a more for-sale item, although it's promotional as well), and gave input into that part of the video as we were shooting it. Said lesson, BTW, is from the much-trumpeted-here Growing Out, Season 1.
Anyway, both products break down our approach to Adult learning (although the video contains segments for levels from kids on up), why it works, and things you can start doing right now to make it work. So if y'r interested in the booklet, buy something Adulty.
Or be one of the people who actually pay for either of them & get (or at least sample) them here and here.
So, that St. Vincent/Peter Hammill review's still percolating. I'll probably throw the new Cracker on as well, or hold off on that part until the new Son Volt's out in a week or two. ('Cause while David Lowery's quirky as all get-out, he's just not that scary.)
And vacation beckons next week. Boy, I need it. I'm just.... tired (although I'm gonna try to do a bunch of writing while I'm away, too). And as these Shameless Plugs continue to hit, it'll become more obvious why....
